Okay my friends...I need to be careful. I tend to fall into a consistant state of fasting around 18 to 20 or more hours very easily and habitually. I am taking in an average of 500 to 800 a day weekly average. I am starting to feel Nauseous and dizzy at times then I realize I have not eaten in ?? hours. To few calories being taken in also. Strange that I just stay at this 140 mark despite the low calorie intake and long fasting time. I want to lose the weight but again I need to be aware and careful and wise. Does anyone else deal with this out there in FS land. 🌺

I only do intermittent fasting (12 hours). Be careful and listen to your body! Good luck in your journey 😄

I’m so glad you are acknowledging those symptoms, they are not normal

That’s is too low, specially for a women keilin and I have lost a lot of weight...she is 100 lbs and I’m 115lbs

There is no need to starve to be skinny

How to deal with it? Lift weights 🏋️‍♀️ and force yourself to eat in a moderate calorie deficit. It’s that simple 😉

Chris and I have dealt with forcing ourselves to eat more, do it for your health...body adapts in a couple of weeks 😉

I’ve been losing 2-4 pounds per week eating anywhere from 1300-2000 calories per day. It’s all about balance and moderation. I try to eat less on days I am less active. I don’t think what you are doing is sustainable.

I was eating 1500 to lose a pound per week( 40 lb.) , l loss the last 3-5 pounds with 1200 because my weight is already low, now I am in my four week of maintenance with 1700 calories per day.

See what I mean? No need to starve 😋

Gracias keilin ☺️

U will lose the weight as long as your consistent with your calorie deficit 😏

I understand! I lost 45 lbs all together but I find it very hard to eat over 1,000 cal a day. Im usually at about 900. My nutritionist is always telling me to eat more. Im not into meat but I work out 6 days a week n am trying to build so Im attempting to include more protien. I do see more muscle definition. Keep going but I know those dizzy spells etc so please be careful!

Your body is in starvation mode. You wont loose anything until you are consistently getting much more
26 Jan 19 vom Mitglied: Dee_T
Starvation mode does not exist

I think I see people cut calories very low and then do not see losses. May just be anecdotal. We do know the body will adjust to what you are feeding it. Try to find something that works.

‘Starvation Mode' is defined as a concept where your metabolic rate declines during the process of caloric restriction or weight loss to such a degree that further weight loss becomes impossible or weight gain occurs.
26 Jan 19 vom Mitglied: rosio19
Yes body does adapt to less calories and that’s were the damage happens to your metabolism. half of the definition is true, the other half is BS

Yeah, Kevin Hall's study of the Biggest Loser contestants showed that for some of them at least their body had adjusted to a lower calorie level so that to maintain weight or lose again if they gain some they had to continue to keep a really low calorie level which is quite hard in the long run. So it is worth being a bit careful.
