I've been in a funk! I want to get out of it. I'm trying to shake off this past weekend, but I'm finding it hard to. I'm at work now, but I just want to go the gym and get all my frustration out on an elliptical and not work until I'm ragged tired (one person is on vacation all week and we're really feeling it). I just want to scream! I feel like I've lost my mojo. I need to get it back. I don't know how. :( I got up this morning at 5am to go to my gym's spin class and I just went back to bed. After going to the bathroom, turning on the light and "officially" waking up....I just went back to bed and set my alarm for 7a. Boo on me! What??? Why couldn't I just get my workout clothes on? They were already set out on my dresser! :(

I need to get back.

Sometimes it is okay to take a break. Just don't go too long! ; ) I know what it is like to get into a funk and sometimes it is hard to get out of it. What I know is, when I exercise and eat right, it really helps me pull out of it. Maybe just a walk on your break or lunch would help?

OMG YOU TOO... I have no idea what happened. Maybe its the change of season. We have to get back on it. I will try if you try. We can do this together. I started doing morning workouts and it takes me forever to get out of the bed and put on those clothes. It's so very hard, but once they are on its fine. Its just getting out of bed and making that 2 min effort. We have to MAKE the effort. 10- 12 minutes a week to MAKE the EFFORT. I will if you will. :-)

Thanks for the encouragement datadoll, but I don't really take a lunch break. I eat at my desk while working. I haven't taken a lunch break since the begining of the year when I said I would make it one of my new year's resolutions and it lasted two days because I got too behind on work. Steph! I need motivation girl! I'm stuck in a rut over here! I'm the same way, once I put on my workout clothes, it's on like Donkey Kong! Ok, I'll put my alarm on for 5:30a for cardio and weight train arms. I'm gonna pray for a way to get up and going tomorrow morning!

The "funk" can get the best of all of us, but don't let it win! A workout is like a shot of unfunkiness that'll pull you right back on track. Good luck tomorrow!! I wish I was still on top of my morning workouts (as they are now mid-late day workouts). You can do this girl!

I feel really guilty! I feel like I encouraged the behavior.Melmi you know you have the power to jump back into it. It's okay to take a small break just don't go crazy on your eating. And make sure you maintain.
