I have an idea! Let us have 1 hot cross bun (instead of 6 🤣) and 1 or 2 easter eggs (instead of the whole box) - then we won't feel deprived or that we missed out. Just don't continue the habit for 4 days - it is not that difficult to enjoy the little things and be careful of what you eat the next day 😎

I will not be buying any Caring Candy products again...my stomach cannot tolerate the artificial sweeteners they use... I'll have a small portion of the real stuff, like Ketogirl has suggested...

I agree, one or two hot cross bun/s will not hurt... we have the courage and discipline to have just that one... make sure it is a good quality bun... 😜otherwise it is not worth it...😜😋I think I’ll pass on the Easter 🐣 egg... and spoil myself with some dark chocolate my new acquired taste🤪

I baked hotcross buns for the first time last weekend (test run for this weekend). I managed to have only one and my friends said they were the best buns they have ever eaten! Enjoy your off day Samantha, my off day was yesterday. Am not feeling guilty at all. It’s a lifestyle after all not a short term diet. Am back on the banting wagon today.. happy Easter my FS fam.❤️

You all are so supportive here 😃 I had a whole small Romans Hawaiian Pizza last night. First Romans pizza for this year - and it was worth it! Today was a good day again - less than 10 gr of carbs so far! You are right! It's a lifestyle - no short term thing. We can have anything we want - as long as we balance the excess out the next day or so!

Easter Friday comes once a year, so I did enjoy my Hotcross buns yes I did😋 I just avoided the Easter eggs (since I discovered sugar is my kryptonite) and ate All Easter food during my IF eating period. Hey Nala, am no expert myself lol. Basically this is a Low Carb, High fat lifestyle. Am filling this lovely group on Facebook called Banting 7 Day Meal Plans, the admin are super helpful and kind. They answer all questions and offer guidance.

A few examples of my meals..breakfast was 2 pork rashers, 2 scrambled eggs and 1/2 an avocado. Dinner will be chicken stir fry “ there is a half a cup chicken skin and some chicken breast” robot peppers and a cup of mashed pumpkin with a table spoon of butter in the pumpkin. With banting you eat when hungry and stop when you full, when your body is fat adapted you don’t feel that hungry. I eat 2 meals a day, sometimes I just eat dinner. If you on Facebook please join the Banting 7 Day Meal plans. It has been a great help to me. They post recipes. And you get to see other people’s journeys and progress.
