I'm angry.

I've been following the same eating plan that I've had this whole time. I went to the gym twice last week, and four times this week. This week I totally kicked ass too. I didn't just kind of go, I went and really built up a nice sweat each time. Yet today...I step on the scale and....174? Really? I've GAINED 1.5 pounds? Something is not right.

Am I gaining muscle? Is my scale broken? Am I sleep eating? WTF?

I wouldn't be mad if I had been slacking, but I've actually done more than usual.EEERGGGHHH.

Bodies are stupid some times.

When you increased your exercise, your muscle take on more, get little tears and hold water to help them heal. It is temporary. I can go for a long bike ride and be up 4 pounds the next day from sore muscles. If you weigh every day, you need to understand that many thing can effect the scale and it doesn't mean you are doing anything wrong, If you eat Chinese food and stay within calories, you can do up from sodium. Our hormones can effect our weight, stress, medications, lack of sleep, etc. You an do everything right and see a gain, you can over eat and see a big loss. It's what you do over time that counts. Just keep going, the scale will go back down and then some. It takes time and patience. You are doing fine.

Brooke, Suzi161 offered kind words of advice because you asked for it and your didn't thank her, you got snooty. Thank you Suzi161 for giving Brooke sound words of advice. Jeez these 20 year olds don't know how easy they have it when it comes to the losing weight game lol. Brooke you have lost almost 40 pounds since January and that is awesome! Take it easy Brooke, and keep on doing what you have been and your scale will show progress in a week or two with patience.

P.S. I know by saying "You Know all this" your intention wasn't to sound snooty but I thought a nice thank you would have been nice.. Sorry if I am being too much of a MOTHA, but thought I should put my two cents in anyway. I luv ya!!

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to come off like a jerk, but I guess I was frustrated. What I was trying to say was that I was angry because this was the first time my body has done this. My muscles weren't sore, so I didn't think it was that. But yesterday I realized my rings were right, so perhaps sodium levels were the issue. IDK, I'll find out next week. But thank you for your input, Suzi.
