well ive been thru alot of emotional changes coming to the new year, but honestly it is not gonna bring me down, in fact it only makes me want to work harder...they can keep knocking but wont knock me down...i come on this website to find challenges but im always coming up short, the running is alot hard then i thought it would be but im more determined then ever to get it done, which is why i joined to race in a 5K this coming march, so 1/21/13 will be the start of an 8 week training course to race 3/16/13...wish me luck...i also changed my eating habits, not on any diet im just eating low to no sugar and low calorie i havent stepped on the scale for quite some time but i see it in my clothes and ive been lifting wts so i know im getting toned builting muscle...so i am now on the right track and my heart and mind are in sync

I've also signed up for a 5k race this year too - I've never done one before, but, I'm excited for the challenge. I have also changed my eating habits by limiting my intake of carbs and by limiting unnecessary sugar. I really haven't seen a change in my body, but I too have noticed it in my clothes. My shirts are fitting better and my pants are looser then before.

excellent!!!! keep up the good work, good luck on ur 5k, keep me posted...me on the other hand have been sick since the 13th, i was planning on starting my training early to be ahead of it but now being sick and cant breathe im afraid that i will not start in time, why is it every time we set our minds on something there is always something tryin to hold us back...so friggin annoying...well i cant let this be an excuse, starting the 21st sick or not i am starting
