We had the ultimate healthy meatloaf last night and because it is SO fantastic... I may have had 'extra' resulting in too much salt. Despite the water gain (I check my ankles, press my forefinger and see the edema, figuring it will show up on the scale), my weight was down a hair. Yay. Even at this tiny weight loss on a daily basis, it will ultimately equal my monthly weight goal. As much as I want to drop weight rapidly, I've been there before and gain almost twice that on that special diet, and I know that slow weight loss equals slow weight gain. Easier to catch and fix on a daily weight check.
