Is it weird to be scared of losing the weight? So far have lost 4 pounds, and it has only been a few days. But I probably screwed that up by eating junk the past couple days. Could it be self sabotage?
I will keep on keeping on at any rate.
After all, Tomorrow is another day. :)

No. There are so many unknowns to weight loss when you are starting out, or even starting over. How long will it take? Am I going to be consistently successful? How will my body change? It's pretty scary stuff. Tomorrow is another day, and you get a chance everyday to do the best you can. I used to be a huge self-sabotager (is that a word?). I would think 'well I botched this meal' and then I would over indulge the rest of the day. That would turn into 'well I already screwed up yesterday' and then my whole week would be shot. I eventually started caring more about being healthy and worrying less about what weight loss might mean for my physical appearance (that was my biggest fear). Someone told me there is 21 meals in a week. If you mess up one you have 20 more to get right,so make each one count. Just keep going....

Thanks for that Cr0wned. Just going to take it one day or meal at a time here. I find that actually seeing what I eat in the diet calendar has made it seem more real. If that makes any sense...Like being accountable for everything I choose to eat. One day at a time
