I have an underactive thyroid. Take one pill a day. Hypothyroidism. I just found out last year. I’m 58. Certain foods I should avoid such as soy, peanuts, certain greens in moderation. Ask your dr for a blood test for that specifically. Should eat more protein, less carbs and healthy fats. Check websites for foods to avoid and foods to raise your metabolism. That’s if it is related but even you want food to boost your energy so u burn more calories.
