Well, it's been a busy weekend! Lots of work at my parents farm. I moved a bunch of hay on Saturday plus did the chores every night from Friday night to Sunday night as my dad hasn't been feeling good. Last night he finally admitted that he was getting better and let my mom take him down to the hospital. He likely has a blockage somewhere in his lower intestine or bowel as he has been like this before. My mom called me last night at 10:30 to ask me to come over and do the chores in the morning for her. I'm very blessed that I have a great manager who understands and will let me come in late and leave early and let me make up the time at a later date. So fortunate to work for a great lady!! And my coworkers are supportive too. I've told my mom many times that I will help out wherever possible. And my husband and son are understanding and easy going for the most part too and help out wherever possible as well.

With my dad in the hospital for the next few days, things will be busy. My goal is to stay focused and eat around 1500-1600 calories per day. Plus there will be the extra activity of doing the chores so I will use this to my advantage and maybe lose a pound by the end of the week.

Pray for my dad for his recovery and for mom as I know she is stressed. Thanks everyone for listening to me rant.

Praying for you and your Dad. You are taking on a lot right now. How are you doing emotionally with your Dad being in the hospital? Make sure you aren't going hungry. Your body needs more when burning more. Hope all goes well for you this week.
