Finally, I'm back on track. I hate being such a carb addict. Why don't I have will power to stick with it? I just crave carbs. It is what I was brought up on and it is just in my system. How do we over power it? Oh, just so disappointed with myself. I didn't think I was so weak when it comes to carbs. I just love breads, potatoes, and junk in general. Will power is just shot, but hoping to overcome it.

Sorry about the ranting!!! Just needed to vent.

Second entry: What the heck is up with entering foods now. It is all different. I'm gone a couple of days and everything is changed. I don't care much for the way it is now. I guess I will have to get used to it cuz I can't get the old way back.

Laurie, please do not beat yourself up or be disappointed...it is so hard when we are grieving. We just want the things that we associate with being loved and comforted, and that means the foods that mom used to make...and in many instances those are carb loaded...cake, pie, bread, mashed potatoes, fried chicken, biscuits.... Hang in there, you'll get past the cravings. I am almost there! lol Love ya, sister/friend! HUGS!

Hey little sis..I am the same way...love my breads etc..I have cut back quite a bit..and eat leaner meats..Don't beat your self up so much we all have set backs..You can do it..I know you can...:O)
