Day 1 of the DFW's challenge and I've already did bad...I ate a chicken wing that was up for grabs in the lunch room. When I came to work today, I had no intentions of eating a chicken wing...normally there's nothing like that around!! I also felt extremely tired, so I had a coffee with milk and sugar and that's not normal for me either. Must have been all those jelly beans on the weekend that caused all these problems!!! Rotten jelly beans!
I did, however, manage to get out a lunch time and go for a run with my coworker. 2.5 km in 17.5 minutes...that's our fastest time yet!! So, I'm well onto my way of getting in 30 minutes of exercise today. I still plan to go to my parents place tonight and help with chores, so that will go towards more exercise. Just why did I eat the chicken wing???

What is the DFW challenge?? I understand about the beating yourself up for the chicken wing, be thankful you ate one and not 3 and plus you got some awesome exercise in. The trick is to not let it derail your entire day! Dee Dee

If you stopped at one freakin chicken wing then you're my hero. I can never stop at just one of anything! Plus.. you ran at lunch. I went to the store and got sushi. So technically you're kicking my butt. :)

Dee Dee - DFW challenge is the DairyFarmersWife Challenge that starts today. Very simple rules, 30 minutes of exercise, stay away from the carbs (oreos), no cussing at the Amish and something else! Pretty simple. Check it out!

DFW - I didn't want to seem to greedy plus my skinny coworker (the one I run with) was standy next to me and she didn't take any wings...she's my hero for that but just now she got some chocolate!! If you only knew how much chocolate is around this place...my husband works for Cadbury (his plant makes gummy candies) but he can get chocolate which he does and I bring to work for the co-workers. Some how I have the willpower to not eat any of that stuff! LOL!
