Day 10! So, I had the fun task last night of helping to load my dad's big stake truck with hay. Today there is a hay auction and my dad wanted to see how well this hay that he has from 2 years ago would sell. So we start loading the truck, me in the hay mow throwing the bales out and my DH was piling the bales on the truck and it's raining and raining and raining. My poor DH...was soaked thru his coat, sweater, t-shirt, everything was wet and covered in hay! I tried to get the hay out of the barn as fast as I could so that he didn't have to be out there but he must have been in the rain for over an hour!! I was sweating up a storm but nothing like what he went through. My DH is a not a farm boy, he was raised in the city. What great husband I have to do this for my dad and me!! My little guy was good too, helping Nana feed the calves and finish up the chores, plus he got to jump in the puddles in his new rubber boots! Fun times!
