Yesterday was the first day in two months that I could not keep track of my calories. I went to a party last night that had a ton of yummy vegetarian food and though I ate small portions, I probably ate a lot. I probably worked some of it off by jamming on drums and vocals and dancing, but there's no way that I have any idea how many calories I consumed. Hummus and pita, tabouli, indian spiced chickpeas and naam, hors d'ouvres, stuffed eggplant, and luscious desserts (which I consumed in small portions, taking just a bite or two). Yummm!!! I don't feel any guilt for going over, though, because it will all average out over time, and I am back to my plan.
