Friday will mark 5 weeks of creating a new healthy life!
I have almost lost 6kg and to me that is not much, BUT....
this morning I saw this top hanging in my cupboard I bought more than a year ago and THEN it didn't look very flattering and I think I wore it once. It was just super tight and was showing off all my bulges, lumps & bumps. I swear if I moved too much it would have ripped. It was just too small; EVERYWHERE! So back in the cupboard it went and there it has been ever since.

So this morning I thought that I would use this top as motivation for it to fit me, because I know it didnt even fit me when I bought it, NO REASON it will fit me now, but it would be a great weekly measure of my progress.

IT ACTUALLY FITS ME! I was absolutely gobsmacked that this top ACTUALLY FITS!!!!!!
Obviously I kept it on 💖!!! Off course I went to the shop and was showing off to anybody & everybody who would listen... (giggles). During the day I realized that I had to constantly pull up my pants and F unceremoniously told me that my pants is too big and that its time for smaller ones? THAT FROM LOSING 6KG???

I am in absolute awe!

I feel so flippen good right now!

ON TO THE NEXT 6kg! (Imagine what I am going to feel like THEN)

time to take your measurements and start tracking those as well. I check my cm's roughly every 3 months... and it is thrilling to notice the cm's just fall away. so happy that you had this moment to celebrate your effort today 💛

@Shereen... I took my measurements on Monday... :) @Pasco... I am going to shop too. I have most of the sizes in my cupboards! AND SHOES!!!!!!! Do you know why we love shoes? BECAUSE YOUR SHOES NEVER TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE PUTTING ON WEIGHT. They just always fit. 😄

Lola, my feet gain weight, especially during pregnancy 😂 luckily my feet go back to normal. Some swear their feet grow and never go back to the same size after pregnancy.

congrats cocalola i will cheer you every step of the way i know how it feels i lost a few years ago a 100 kg and still hope to lose the last more than a few kg's but need to get my head straight on

@VeeVee... I dont really follow a diet. I limit sugar and complex carbs (bread, pasta, rice, cereals, etc) in my diet. At night I like to fill up with cantaloupe as it is low in calories and very filling, also helps me a lot with sugar cravings. If I really cant fight the urge to snack, I eat biltong and sometimes if my calories allow it, peanuts.
