Journal is late today because Fatsecret kept giving me the error signal all of Thursday. I'm feeling a lot better since kicking the sugar/whites so I'm very happy. My workouts are getting a little easier, I just realized I haven't done something lower body intense in a very long time. I remember after I did Slim in 6 and RevAbs last fall, I was sooo OVERRR lower body work that I kicked it to the curb for a long while; it is now kicking my butt with a vengeance, but thats what I need to get back on track.
The plan is to go to the Hamptons this weekend, and I'm really nervous. I don't really want to go b/c there are going to be a lot of people, and I'm not naturally outgoing, it's something I can turn off/on and I just don't feel like being a social butterfly. Also, my friends' house is stocked with every bad food you can imagine and I'd rather not have to deal with that and/or being the one with her own food and having people ask me questions like why i'm not drinking, what am I eating, etc. My friend wants to leave fri after work, which would force me to have to be there two nights which sounds intense, lol, but if I don't go down with them I'll have to figure out how to get out there Saturday, and I'm even less motivated if I have to make the trip alone.
I'm not sure if/why I'm in this hermit phase, but hopefully it'll pass soon. I know for sure the cold weather will keep me in in the upcoming weeks/months so that's the only reason why I'm thinking I should just suck it up and go. I made sure to get some food from the supermarket just in case I decide last minute to go with them tomorrow I can be semi prepared. chicken breasts, avocado, steam bags, workout dvd, healthy snacks, shakeology, etc.
TIP: IF YOU HAVE A CELL PHONE W. A CALENDAR, OR E-MAIL SET UP AN AUTOREMINDER TO PROMPT YOU EVERYDAY FOR YOUR WORKOUT OR WHATEVER YOUR GOAL IS. I'M FINDING THAT BY HAVING A REMINDER OF MY COMMITMENT TO MY FITNESS AND HEALTH THAT I TYPED OUT POPPING UP ON MY IPHONE EVERYDAY HAS REALLY HELPED ME GET IN THE MINDSET OF THE COMMITMENT THAT I MADE TO MYSELF AND MY GOALS. I FORGOT WHAT TIME I SET IT FOR, BUT I THINK I SET IT TWICE B/C I REMEMBER READING IT BEFORE BED, AND THEN AGAIN IN THE AFTERNOON. I ALWAYS READ IT OUT LOUD SO I REMEMBER! (sorry for the caps, lol)
