Thankyou all x! Bunty, it’s not a new chapter hen, it’s just turning the back the clock a few years. I was always a big laddie but never really overweight. After my marriage collapsed ( thank feck!!!) and not seeing my son everyday, combined with a fecker of a motorcycle accident, I just gave up, ate what I wanted, drunk what I wanted. After 15yrs as a RAF Police Officer discipline wasn’t the problem, believing in myself was. If I can do this anyone can. I’m not inspiration, more off a warning. You guys are shit hot! Thanks again, from the bottom of my now healthy heart X

Cheers guys, thankyou Sarah. I’ve tried to loose weight before, only because I got my head nipped by family and friends. Tough love most definitely doesn’t work. It makes you feel horrible and a failure. I hope your partners read this folks.  

Well you’re doing amazing I’m losing weight with my daughter who enjoys exercising unlike myself lol. I’m doing it for medical reasons and because I miss having a summer body, this time at the ripe old age of 44 I’ve decided it’s now or never and so my journey begins!  

Sarah, your half way there if you keep saying I can do this. Your doing it for yourself so you will succeed. I'd tried before because I’d been constantly nagged into it. This time I didn’t even tell anyone, I just looked in the mirror and thought, “Oh sh@t! Is that me?! “ I love this FS app, 99.9% off the people are genuine souls but alas as in life you get the odd numpty. Keep it up girl, for yourself and your lassies x 👍  

Thank you. I’ve I fail I’m only failing myself and for the first time ever I am doing it for all the right reasons. I’m good at making excuses and thinking oh I’ve eat 1 creme egg, so what’s another 2 gonna hurt? It’s quite refreshing to have a positive mind set. I’ve found most people’s comments on posts are positive, but like you say there will always be one who isn’t on the app to be supportive. The way I see it is it’s there loss. I’m a firm believer in that a little bit of encouragement and kindness goes a long way. If you can laugh along the way it certainly helps brighten up those what can be dark days. X 

You won’t fail Sarah, because you have the correct mindset. I won’t say good luck because you don’t need it. I have the same self destruct button as you, when I had tried eating healthy (not a diet, diets don’t work) before if I fell off the wagon that would be me done, I’d just think blown it now and give up instead off using it as a learning curve and starting afresh the following day. Great you have your daughters to help and encourage you, I’ve got a 17 yr old son, he’s like a genie, I only have to rub my wallet and he appears 😂 😂 xx

Been on fat secret off and on for a year or two without trying properly and just maintaining my weight, am on it properly now and seeing your post is so encouraging, well done mate that's sone loss  

Thanks again guys. I used FS to record everything that past my lips, omitted nothing except water. It’s surprising how it mounts up. Healthy eating came through being a hungry so and so. I’d rather have a decent portion of poultry or fish than a wee bit steak or stew. Miss ma haggis though 😂 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. Losing my weight so quickly has left me with a bit of slack abdominal skin. I’m lucky I don’t have any man boobs or saggy legs! Planning an tummy tuck later in the year. Best news is my Motorcycle is a lot faster 😂 bad news is constant cloths shopping 🛍 hard for a Scotsman ye ken. 👍
