No more fooling around! Yesterday I got back on the wagon. I made good food choices and was even able to "reward" myself with some hard cider at the end of the day. Today is going just as well. I have had breakfast and lunch with no snacking in between meals. I haven't needed to! With eating foods that are better for me and eating more slowly, I don't feel hungry all the time. AND I am keeping up with my first challenge and have been walking my 30 minutes a day. The tools here are great. I find I am using them and I think it is helping me. I want to reach my goal of 50 pounds lost by February. Right now I am focusing on my first 25 pounds. Here's hoping...

Good for you for walking 30 minutes a day. Feels great to succeed a something, doesn't it?
I found that if I budgeted snacks into my daily calories, it gives me something to look forward to between meals. I also budgeted in my nightly glass of wine :) However I discovered during a month long challenge which included no wine or alcohol, the weight came off easier. I hit a plateau at the end of last month, so decided that September would be another alcohol-free month for me - and I reached my goal!!! Don't get me wrong, I love my wine, and am really looking forward to getting back to it, but I think that's one thing that worked for me.
