how do u guys cope with the lockdown what do u do to control the stress the stress eating and trying to cope with it all

I’ve had to up my protein. Making sure to drink a litre of water within 3 hours of waking. That will help with craving and stress eating. Walk around your house or yard to de-stress and bring down the stress hormone as that makes you hungry. You need to also make sure you sort out your worries by writing it down and making a plan to deal with it. Little steps to making everyDay successful. I make a mental note but I’ve seen many people that keep journals seem to have more success sticking to their diets. Keep trying and never give up💪🏼 you got this❣️

Its tough business this! But started again yesterday after a lapse of judgement, and just put the mind straight and thought about the month it took me to get back to where i left off after my last binge. Even bought the wife a dozen cupcakes and it didnt bother me while she ate them. The last 4 greeted me this morning and so i opened them up and gave one to my daughter. To me its just a switch in the brain that says boy you f ing yourself around cause you gonna sit for another couple of months to get back to where you left off cause there is no ay you can accept being fat anymore. But everyone has different ways, trick is to find your way and fall back on it every time the train jumps off the tracks. Good luck and stay strong

I agree with Mike. It’s definitely mind over matter. I had my switch on for months. During the holidays, no cake or custard could tempt me. But then my switch tripped from the overload of stress and anxiety. It took me a while to flip it back up. If you can sort out your head, get that right. You are 80% there. Tricks to keeping full and satisfied is 20% of the success.

I'm exercising. it's honestly making the difference for me. my trainer runs Zoom classes twice a day and it gives me time to move and not think about the rest of the stuff going on. I also structure my day with a time table... blocking off time for specific things gives me routine to focus on and not food. it hasn't been perfect, but I'm trying my best and really that's all we can do at this time. also. drink water... don't forget that. I find I drink a lot less water and a lot more coffee at home, so I'm trying to stay better hydrated. I think that will help the munchies too.

Lots of coaches doing online sessions and I heard a great talk yesterday about interrupting our neural patterns when we have cravings (going for sugar/ carbs/ alcohol)
