Ok so I didn't go on the elliptical today BUT I did go for a 30 minute walk (with hills) so I wasn't totally bad. Fourth of July today and I was visiting my parent's house. We went to IHOP and had a huge BBQ to celebrate the holiday.
Good thing I always bring fatsecret with me because I was able to budget my calories much easier. I had half of my breakfast with 2 cups of coffee (making the calories for breakfast much less..and really who needs to eat more than 1 egg, 1 bacon and 1 pancake in one sitting? That is a lot of food!) Now I have two breakfasts (unless my husband eats it).
I was glad my mother agreed to have a late lunch early dinner. I didn't want to eat such a heavy meal around 5-6 pm. That would be too late and then afterwards, I would have to drive back really late (during fireworks and traffic). We started BBQing around 2pm and by 3:30pm we finished eating and were cleaning up. We even went for ice cream. Then my husband and I drove home.
Today and yesterday's exercises didn't including playing out on the lawn with my dog (total about 1 hour).
Now I am showered after a very hot day outdoors. Going to close all the windows in about 20 minutes because my allergies get triggered by fireworks smoke.
