I really pushed myself today! I walked 3.5 miles AND jogged for 48 minutes (4 miles)! I had to stop ever three minutes and walk as my endurance is not very good yet and I get very out of breath, but considering a week ago I could barely run 20 seconds, I think I am doing awsome! I have not ran since I was a kid. When I was 11 I ran a 5 mile marathon for the Lions club. Never trained, just went out and did it. I got an award for being the youngest runner. Since then I have not really done any running except for the last week. For those of you starting the Couch to 5K Running Program challenge tomorrow, I would not suggest going at this pace. I have just finished the Walk 100 Miles challenge so I have really built up allot of strength in the last 6 weeks doing that. After today I am up to 115 miles, and there is still 15 days left from the 8 week challenge.
