Found out earlier today that the president will be sending federal agents to my city, though allegedly they will not be the same type of unmarked agents that were dispatched to Portland. I'm not sure that's a comfort, considering that the city's leadership were only looped in on this when it was announced as happening, rather than being included in the planning.
I've been using the additional time afforded by the pandemic cancelling plans to focus on building better habits. I've been tinkering with intermittent fasting, managing to fast 16 - 18 hours on a regular basis. I've also been working on more mindful eating, reminding myself at times that I'm not actually hungry, just bored. Additionally, I'm working on creating a habit of clocking out from work (I've been full-time work from home since last October) and immediately changing into my workout gear. It serves as a "deciding factor" of sorts on those days where I really don't feel like working out.
In short, trying to keep sane by staying healthy. I hope anyone reading this is also safe and healthy <3
