Jeez Im cranky right now. Everyone is taking offence at everything. My friends are behaving like the lockdown in Melbourne is my fault because I live outside it. Sex doesnt work anymore. Im putting weight back on. Theres no work. Or anything on tv we havent watched already.

We are nearly there. Hold the line. I live in Metro Melbourne and I don’t begrudge Regional Victorians their extra freedoms. I’m just focused on getting it done so I can see my family for Christmas. We are a stalwart bunch and numbers are falling all the time 👏👏

Then you are a much nicer person than my crazy associates. As for Christmas!!! There can be annual argument with my mother because she doesnt want my autistic son at dinner because it will make everyone too sad and that I push him into everyones faces. Because I am too prickly.

I live out near the border of having freedom and not. Only wish I was a few suburbs away so I can be me. Lol. It will be over soon enough so just enjoy the peace out in the regional area.

Felliniandtom, it is interesting that he is ‘your’ son, not ‘her’ grandson. I struggle to understand how she could inflict hurt on not just you, but your son as he must feel it by being rejected by her. Other people (her guests) need to spend time with others who are different so they learn acceptance and understanding. If she spent more time with him she might improve her own communication skills when dealing with her grandchild.
