Day 30 ~ feeling very frustrated.....I have only been able to work out a few times in the past couple weeks and I am getting very angry about it. I am still following the eating plan with the exception of Saturday when my hubby took me out for dinner for Valentines Day, but I still had Chicken and a small amount of pasta and a slice of bread. But not being able to exercise is making me angry. I try to do as much as I can with a hurt back, but it isn't much at all....does anyone have any suggestions or other ideas that I can use until I can get back on my feet? My dr. says that I can do what ever I can as long as I am not putting too much strain, but that isn't much. So frustrating, I was doing so great and now this. Not a good thing because I am afraid that I will fall back into my slump and not loose any more weight...thanks for letting me vent, if anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. Keep up the great work everyone!

Hey listen don't be angry look at how well you've done. I completely understand your frustration because exercise which at first was so hard for me to do, has now become a huge motivator. Your back is hurt and you need to take it easy right now. If you push yourself it might take you that much longer to get back into the swing of things. Hang in there you'll be exercising again the way you use to before you know it. Continue with the light exercise til you can build back up to where you were. Feel better and most importantly be happy.

Can you get out and walk?? My chiropractor says that's the BEST exercise for someone w/a hurt back. Even if it's only 10 or 15 minutes, it's moving! Hang in there girl, and whatever you do, don't give up!!!

Thanks girls.....I am not going to give up by any means, it is just frustrating. My chiro said to not walk, that is the worst thing for what I have done...my tailbone is twisted and that is what is causing the pain, so she said not to walk or run. But I am ok to ride the bike so that is what I have been doing, it just gets to the point where I can't do it much. Thanks again for the good thoughts...I will be back hopefully sooner then I think!!!

what if you do leg exercises from lying down like inner and outer thighs and some pilate moves. If you put your hand under your buttocks it shouldnt strain your back- I don't think. What about a stationary bike? Keep your chin up.

My mom has 3 hemeraged discs in her back and when it first happened the only thing she could do is excerise in a pool. Can you find a gym that has a pool?
