This week I've taken a step back weight-wise so the stubborn me is not officially logging it here (67.6kg) although I have logged it on Renpho (just using the app for manual entries and measurements - don't have the scale).

Did a 45min full body workout on Tuesday and 40min upper body yesterday. Will hopefully do a 50min leg one on Sunday. I'm thinking the scale might drop at least to 67kg by tomorrow morning, but we'll see.

Calorie tracking has been good this week and I've been enjoying some salads again. All the damage was done last weekend with such overindulgence that I felt ill on both days. The fries at Barley & Biltong at the Spice Route near Paarl are amazing and the mushroom/chickpea burger was tasty, but could be firmer. I can also recommend the freshly baked ciabatta bought at Brenda's Deli and enjoyed that evening - yum! This weekend will be more of the same - visiting a market again tomorrow so I hope I've learned my lesson and will try not to overdo it.

Hey Nikina! That burger looks and sounds amazing. I love burgers of all kinds and will sometimes order a veggie one because I love how they taste. But yeah, texture is so important. I can’t even look at those fries without drooling, that’s my kryptonite. 😅 Fantastic job on the workouts, you are doing so great! I find that if you keep your workouts going, the gains don’t stick even if you overindulge a bit, so I am sure you’ll get back to it very soon. Hope you have a wonderful and restful weekend, love. 💖

Your meal at Barley & Biltong, sounds divine. By the sounds of things they should have maybe just used a bit more coconut flour etc to bind the mushroom and chickpea burger, but still YUM. Here's to a great week!
