After losing 4 stone in the last 4 months, I feel like I’m finally ready to start couch to 5k. Ive signed back up to the gym last week so all recorded progress is 5% incline on a treadmill (for now, until I’m comfortable outside).
14th December - 57 mins 40 seconds (walking) 15th December - 50 mins 40 seconds ( wk1/run1) 16th December - 46 mins 41 seconds (wk1/run2)
Today nearly killed me, and I know I should be leaving rest days between, but need to fit runs in on my current furlough days. Next run will be Friday, but I don’t anticipate I’ll be any quicker as I really pushed myself today.
This is a massive achievement for me. I’m never been a runner. I just need to keep going till I can run the 5k rather than walk it.
