I haven't been on here very often, but I have been eating VERY well. I have cut down on the carbs and eating veggies like my life depends on it. I have been feeling pretty good, but the best thing is my cravings have gone down quite a bit.
Hubby, brother, brother's girlfriend, and I went out to eat the other night at Applebees and they all ordered burgers and fries but I ordered a salad, chicken breast, and broccoli. Then they stopped at Dairy Queen on the way home. I didn't order anything at DQ nor did I sneak a bite in of my hubbies. At the end of the night they felt miserable, and I felt fine. Not to mention seeing them eat that kind of food didn't even bother me. So I'm pretty happy about that.
Last night hubby and I went to the movies. Hubby always has to have popcorn and a diet coke. I looked at the nutrition content and decided I could have a little popcorn and not do any damage. So we got a medium popcorn and I had a few handfuls off the top and then handed it over to hubby. And then I didn't eat another kernel! I was satisfied with what I had and I didn't crave anymore. So when I handed it over, I didn't give it a second thought (even though hubby keep sticking kernels in my face and I had to ask him to stop).
And today, I Zumba'ed for 20 mins. Doesn't sound like a lot, but I was ready to shut it off after 5 mins. So making it though 20 mins was a small victory.
All in all I'm doing a good job and I'm just trying to lose weight one good decision at a time.
