I stayed under my calories today. I had been trying extra hard to stay in the low range of calories. I go on vacation tomorrow to TN and I dread going out to dinner. I know I have a good issue, and I try to stay positive about it. I don't want to derail off track on my dieting this week. My main plan of attack is to focus on healthier options at the restaurant and continue to do my workouts while I am away, and still have fun on top of that. I do not want to gain weight this week. I had been doing too good and I have to keep that up. I am gonna remain positive, and I know I can do this.

All restaurants have salads & vinaigrette dressings. It may not sound fun, but it's the easiest way to eat out and stay on track. Everything else has about double the calories you may think it does. Stay strong! 🤗

TN??? HOme of bbq & whiskey??? Oh-oh!!! I would stick to salads & soups out there or on the road. Munchies: nuts, raw veggies w/dip, popcorn. Don't forget to let us know what you ate out there. Inquiring minds want to know. Good journey! :)

Well Morgan I say go and have yourself a great time. Thinking positive. Is going to be what help you get through. No matter what happen on your trip come back with that same positive vibe. and carry on...

don't deprived yourself.. try the local food just don't binge.. they say no other bite/taste is as good as the first. so at least try a few things

Fish or chicken are good options when eating out. Choosing salads (dressing on the side) and veggies as your sides will help keep calories lower. Enjoy...just don't overdo it and you'll be fine. If the portions are large try to eat some and leave a little. Also sharing a dish with whoever you're traveling with can be a good choice.

Morgan, enjoy and just stay active. Walk a lot if possible, remember you can count your steps and it will show you the calories burned, HAVE FUN!👍

People will make different suggestions but in my experience you know yourself better than anyone. If you think easing off on your diet and indulging in food would set you back mentally, I wouldn’t bother doing so. Progress is incremental and managing mental fatigue is an important aspect of training as well as dieting. In my experience maintaining discipline is better than having a cheat meal, you build confidence and self control. However, if you can have a cheat meal and that not effect your focus I would enjoy it, time is precious.

Hey Morgan, have a safe and enjoyable vacay💃🏽🌻. You've come so far, it's too far to turn back now💪🏽. Exercise if you can, even if it is to walk instead of driving to close destinations, or taking the stairs where possible. Salads with vinigrette dressing are tasty and healthy choices with baked chicken/fish and are usually available in restaurants, baked sweet potato is also a good alternative to fries. Lastly, take some thing that reminds you of your goal and hang it up. Perhaps a motivational pic (showing you at a fitness level you want to get back to) or clothing you want to fit into again or fit in for the first time. I hope this can help you stay on track. I ran into the eating out thing last week. I looked up the menu before I got to the restaurant and used the ap for the calorie count. It at least gives me a range so I know. A taco dish at one place may be 450 calories and 980 at another. If the calorie count is really different I break down the food, lettuce, tomato, etc. and keep track. Trick is keeping track so if you do go over eat less the next day or walk an extra mile. Good luck.
