I had a great weekend!! Yesterday was my birthday, so on Saturday my friend and I went to our universary for the open house and checked out our old haunts and saw the new sights! It was a lot of fun plus we went without the hubbies and kidlets!! Freedom! Then we had a late lunch and then went to the outlet mall where we shopped until closing at 9 pm. We then went for a late dinner, a little wine and of course chocolate cake!! I had a fantastic time and got some good deals on workout clothes and clothes for the office for this summer. Yesterday, was spent with my DH and son in the morning where I was presented with a home made cake and cards!! We then went over to my parents after church and had a big get together. We celebrated my birthday, my brother in law's birthday and my mom's birthday (hers was the past Saturday). Lots more cake and a big dinner. Later in the afternoon, I went out to the barn and got 50 bales of hay and straw ready for my dad to use through the week and then cleaned the calf pens along with the regular chores too. So all that work compensated for some of the eating!
Back at work today and eating better but there is still some cake at home!! We did get out for our ususal lunchtime run already. It was cool but much better run than last Friday. The wind was soo bad that day, we could barely move forward.
