Feeling kind of shakey today. My blood sugar is ok...its 90. I took some insulin and drank a v8 for a few carbs.
I didnt eat enough but I'm not that hungry and kind of sick to my stomach. And I'm not in the mood to cook and my foot hurts.
Complain much? Lol haha I'm really fine just whining a little.
Going on a road trip tomorrow and saturday. I paid for breakfast in the hotel for saturday (so I can get eggs and bacon for sure). Tomorrow morning breakfast will be here.
Car ride: carrot sticks, nuts, apple, water, chicken salad, celery sticks
Late lunch / early dinner on friday: somewhere I can get healthy food
Sat lunch: see if I can get something healthy out of a vending machine (no other choice)
Sat dinner: stop somewhere healthy
Sat car ride: leftover snacks from friday.
We shall see!

Vending machines almost always have nuts, I never noticed them before but now I look for them (healthier):)

Depending on where you are, if you see a wal-mart, sam's club, or other food stores check out their deli, you can be shocked at what you can find there. In fact the BP gas station in my town make fresh salads every day, and you can even pick what goes on them, left overs go to the food bank/ homeless shelter.

Wait angel_face0145 the leftovers from Wal-Mart or BP go to needy people? I would support any company that does that but I don't think that occurs here in California....

The BP in my area does, I don't think the wal-mart does. But, I'm in Kentucky.

That must be part of their reparations deal for the Gulf spill, BP out here doesn't do the same but still if it helps some hungry people then I'm all behind it. I wish all corporations would do this at the very least instead of just throwing the food in the garbage :(

Man I gotta get a grip on my insulin. The amount I should take is wacked bc I'm hardly eating any carbs. I cut down my evening amount and my blood sugar dropped to 61 which makes you hypoglycemic. Then I ended up eating a bunch of semi-bad stuff bc I was shakey and felt starving. I gotta figure this out. I ate: rest of 1 oz dark choc candy bar, 3 packs of dukan diet oatmeal biscuits, one tub of jif to go pb. Good grief my bs is probably gonna be through the roof in the morning. Grrrr

I actually don't monitor my blood sugar, remember I said I was borderline and since I found that out I've slacked all unnecessary sugar from my diet but I don't know what you need.. I would be wrong in nature to even offer a suggestion if you already take insulin; if your BS levels are chaotic you should seek medical advice bc I don't know beyond diet control. Sorry

Day one: All good I watched fat sick and nearly dead which I found very encouraging. I have started jucing Kale, kiwi fruit, carrots, flax seed oil, berries and banana for breakfast. Yum I must say.

Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead practically saved my life! I love that movie. I went from technically obese with an autoimmune disease (the same one the guys had in that movie!) to a healthy weight and now studying to become a certified personal trainer and health coach on a whole-food 100% plant-based diet! Veggies have the power to save lives! They certainly saved mine. Best of luck to you all.
