Thank you so much, community, for your support! It means a great deal to me.
I feel like my biggest challenge right now is just staying present with what happens in my body. I'm starting a more visual recording of symptoms (Stickers! Cute ones!) that I hope will help remind me that the symptoms ebb and flow, and that I do have some time symptom-free! To even call my experience "symptoms" feels like a judgment, and I'd like to move away from that as well.
So! I'm a cancer survivor about 7 years out now with a great prognosis. Unfortunately, the treatment which helped me stay alive affected my G.I. system in interesting ways. I get some relief from acupuncture and a bit of exercise and reducing stress. I'm not particularly well-nourished nor absorbing nutrients, I am overweight, and really feel best consuming only clear liquids. It isn't enough, and I am working on the "more." I love to make vegetable broth full of green yumminess and medicinal herbs. It is lovely magic. xo
