the most important thing is that you really want a change👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 what I do is count the calories, the body needs to saw the amount of calories per day and to lose weight you need to consume less. and with exercise you can start walking every day 10,000 steps a day 🚶‍♂️ 🚶‍♂️ 🚶‍♂️ Another option is to search for exercises on YouTube that is what I do, the instructors are many and free😹😹😹 💪🏼💪🏼you can do it !!!! Good luck !

You are right, but it is really difficult for me to find my motivation as obese class the first step is the most difficult.

People are motivated for different reasons, but if you read what people say here, health could be a big one. Many are suffering from illnesses and physical damages that are directly related to excessive indulgence and letting it go for too long. React while you can.

...all I can say is I started at 300 and now about 209ish. Use the app, record your activity, and record your food. you will see truth if you're hitting a caloric deficit. That's the key (for me). Feel free to reach out...we can collaborate!

Welcome! You will get good support here at FS. You MUST have a goal that you really want - a specific weight, a health outcome, whatever, that is the driving motivation for you to make changes to your eating and activity behaviors. The number one thing most of us do consistently is track our intake calories and try, as best we can, to eat fewer calories than our RDI. If you eat 250 calories a day less than your RDI, you will lose about 1/2 lb per week. A 500 calorie deficit will be about a 1 lb loss per week. Move more, start walking, even it if is just a little bit or find recreational activities that interest you and participate in them. Log you intake and activity. This is a journey, a life long one that will move you to better health. Best wishes!

welcome. good suggestions here. there are many good weight loss methods. one of mine is to find healthy substitutes for fattening foods. another is portion control. don't lower your calories too drastically. what I did was gradually lower my calories from what I was eating instead of starting very low and working my way up. but that is what is working for ME. since everyone is different, the same method doesn't work for everyone. find something that works for you. you will get plenty of support here. 🍇🥫🥗🍍🍅 please forgive my no caps. my cousin Arthur Itis is visiting right now 😜

Research different food plans and try ones that you think are attainable. Stick to what works. Remember, CICO. You need to exercise. Do what your body allows and increase it as you can. Walking around a a great start. Good luck and welcome!

To translate: May peace be upon you and his mercy and blessings. أس سالم عليكم و رحمتله و بركاته I so want to learn how to write like that some day.

@Eral66 Thank you for the translation. So do I. It's actually easier to learn how to read it because the sounds of the letters stay the same. They don't change when combined with another letter like in English and Spanish. Alif is ah, Baa is "b" (without vowels like buh, just say b) and together it's ab. I don't have an Arabic keyboard on this phone but it would be the first two letters of the Alphabet. There's YouTube videos made for kids that's easy to get. The hardest letters are the ones that aren't available in any other language. It took me a long time to get it and still some I struggle with. Nahwu classes, in my opinion is the best approach once the alphabet is learned. Unfortunately Arabic classes are scarce and if available ridiculously expensive here. I hope one day we get a grasp on it. I love to speak the words I know.
