I'm back from vacation! It was a good time! I went for a 5 km jog 5 out of 7 days and endulged in some ice cream and munchies. And when I stepped on the scale it said I was up 3 lbs. I'll weigh in again tomorrow morning and see if I've dropped back down...

Weather was good. We got in the pool most days. My son is liking the pool a lot more now and we end up staying for 2 hours at a time! He also likes fishing more, so we were going out twice a day. I still feel like I'm in the boat even though I'm just sitting at my desk. Speaking of sitting at the desk, I read an article that said we are slowly killing ourselves from all the desk sitting that we do. We need to get up more often and move around. Try telling that to the managers that want us to work work work!!! Knowing this, I will definitely try to keep getting out on my lunch break and go for runs. I may only be able to do 3.5 km but it definitely is better than sitting the whole day!

Only 1 week until my little guy starts kindergarten. So anxious for him. I'm sure I will be upset to see him off on his 1st day!

Anyway, back to the grind...lots of work to do!

Glad your vacation went well! I sit at a desk all day too and I've read similar articles, but you get engrossed in work and end up sitting for hours. When I'm drinking a lot of water I end up getting up quite a bit to hit the bathroom, but that probably isn't enough. Kindergarten is hard, but for me the first day of middle school with my daughter was even worse. He'll be so excited and have fun, so don't worry too much. :)
