I've started logging my miles on a PDF through the Florida Keys. My goal for April is 100 miles. So far so good. Yesterday I did 4.4 and I really felt it when I was done. The weather was beautiful though and the dogs loved it. I'm not sure if I'll go that far today. I'll have to wait and see how I feel. I do find it interesting how my left knee and foot are so stiff and painful when I start out and by about 1 mile into it, they feel so much better.
Some of that must be residual injury from when I fell from my horse and blew out my back and leg. I guess I am lucky it wasn't worse.
I feel like I am back on track more with the Atkins as well. I've made a few adjustments here on the advice of my friends so we'll see what happens. I have four days off here to get it together so that is my plan. I am getting the spring cleaning urge too. Gotta go with it since my cleaning urges are so few and far between.

4.4 miles is great even for someone who isn't recovering from a leg and back injury. I admire your determination and committment. Congrats for getting back on track with Atkins. It is so worth it in the long run.

Thanks angel! The thing is, I didn't even realize that I wasn't on track. That's the great thing about having buddies here. You can use them as an extra set of eyes.

You are doing great with the walking! How many miles to go? I'm glad you got back on track and are feeling good again. I know exactly what you mean about "few and far between" cleaning urges. When the spirit moves, do it!!!
