Today was the 5k!! It it almost didn't happen. it showed yesterday, so everyone was worried about black ice, but surprisingly none of the snow really stuck to the streets

My goal was 28 minutes. I thought I was dying halfway in, I definitely started too fast, but I made it. I just kept thinking about Tim Vail telling me to tell myself I'm syrupy and I've been training for this!

My time was 26:12, and my first mile was under 8 minutes!! AND I placed first in my age group!!

I met two really great goals today, and I am beyond the moon and ecstatic 😁😁😁 thank you guys for all the encouragement given over the past few weeks ❤
