I hit a new low today 208.8 lbs. I'm soooo excited. I'm on day 4 of a fat fast. I haven't dropped much on this fast, just 1 lb. But I'm still excited. Tomorrow is my last day. Hope I see 208 again. :)

Dr Atkins suggested a fat fast for persons who have a hard time losing or are in a plateau. You can find this in his older book, not the newer one. Its a 1000 calorie high fat diet of 80% fat or more. You do it for four or five days no more. You have 5 or 6 mini meals. Here are what I have on mine: deviled egg 1 w/ mayo 1T. One ounce tuna w/ 1T mayo. 1 slice ounce cheese w/ one bacon, 1/2 ounce macadamia nuts w/ 1 ounce cream cheese. Fat coffee w/ coconut oil or butter 1T. Corned beef one ounce. You can lose 3 to 6 lbs per fast. I usually lose almost 4. Know you WILL regain about 1.5 lbs when you resume back to normal feed days. But you do end up weighing less than what you started. I fat fast 1 time every 3 to 6 weeks for four days. This fast (today is day four going ahead with day five) I haven't lost much maybe 2 lbs. I also mini fat fast (500 calories) of high fat every Sunday. These really help me get the scale moving.
