I drenched my Brussels sprouts in Knorr creamy pesto sauce, a sodium bomb with 330 mg per two tablespoons. I have two more packets left and then I hope to start making it from scratch.

Good for you getting the kitchen organized! Did you find your coffee grinder? I have never used my coffee grinder for coffee, because I make instant coffee. I use it to grind spices, especially black pepper.

Haven't yet (it's small). Turns out it can't grind rice so it won't help with the protein powder. Black & Decker recommends dedicating a grinder for coffee and a grinder for spices (of course, they would).

Hey Chris I got a Magic Bullet at Walmart on clearance 14 piece set for 35.00, it grinds rice very well

FullaBella, I also went nuts and ate a bag of Zesty Italian croutons, the last of a ten packages for a $1 each special at Kroger. Another example of how grocery stores hook people on cheap processed foods. Disodium inosinate, anyone?

That is why I stopped using coupons. It helped me buy, and save money on processed food. Nobody ever gives you a coupon for a head of broccoli, or a lb. of brussel sprouts. When they do, that is when I will start using coupons again! The other savings are just a potential detriment to my health. Not worth it.
