I'll be journaling my way through the next month, I might overload on posts but I want to be conscious about this journey.

Today I had porridge with berries with breakfast. I love this! I usually grab white toast - twice the calories, less filling, less nutritious. I need to make better changes. I am going to try to eat less bread because I'd eat toast all day long! I love cooking so I'm going to meal prep and eat more vegetables. I need to reach for more healthy snacks and eat more protein. I've been let go from one of my jobs so I have a couple of days free to take the doggy on a longer walk. I have my plan, will endeavour not to fall down a rabbit hole of comfort or lazy eating through stress. Lockdown was hard on a lot of us. I feel like I'm only just feeling more like myself again. I don't have it as bad as others, I can only speak for myself. My constant looking outwards towards caring for other people has derailed me in many aspects of my life. I'm here to take one step at a time. So here I go...
