Seeing and feeling real changes now for the better. There have been difficult days, unpredictable ones. I'm realizing that sleep plays such a big part in how my day goes, the choices I make and how I look and feel overall. I make poor eating choices and don't have energy for activity when I haven't gotten enough sleep. I'm learning I get the best results when I create healthy routines and stick with them. I'm on track with fiber better on days when I make my dinner salad to eat later while making one for lunch to eat now. When I get some exercise right away in the morning, more exercise in the evening is a bonus instead of feeling like an obligation in order to get some exercise in for the day. Yesterday when I glanced in the car mirror, I was surprised by the smoothness of my complexion. I have never been one of those women who is blessed with perfect looking skin. Is this what the "glow of health" means? Maybe :) I'm also noticing more leg strength. I can step into my jeans without holding onto the dresser to keep my balance. Although I still need to hold onto something nearby to rise from a squatted position, my legs are now doing more of the work in helping me rise than my arms. Moving in a positive direction :)
