What is the best way for a carb addicted eating when bored person to stop with bad habits and snacking when full? Any advise please. I have been at it for years and now reached my bottom and need to improve my way of life

Have you ever looked into the Carnivore diet? It's certainly helped me move away from that kind of eating. I still had to work on some of my emotional issues as well though. I know it's a horrible cycle to be stuck in. Good luck on your journey. You can win if you want it badly enough 💪🏼

I agree with jax that for some of us changing the way we eat is the only solution. I cannot do carbs in moderation and being in Ketosis (I follow high protein keto so similar to carnivore) I am able to look at carbs and not eat them- which is/was impossible for me before.

Hi there. I think you are struggling because you are trying to change drastically. Perhaps try one thing at a time. On your plate maybe having one healthy thing at that meal time. For example instead of Mash potato with your pork chop and gravy have Mashed cauliflower with your porkchop and gravy. Then it's only one change to get used to at a time. I'm a sucker for pasta, so I will have zucchini noodles with the most delicious sauce. My brain still thinks "pasta" while I eat and then I don't feel so deprived. I had to take a step back from yhis weight-loss thing for a year and work on my mental health. You got this. be strong

Thank you girls. Rox, very true. I think I have to at once stop eating everything and start fresh and then when that craving hits for carbs is a doozy lol. I am working on eating more meat as I am nog a bit meat eater and eating less snacks at night which is my biggest problem. Snacking after my meals at night are my comfort for the rough day and I am working on it even if it is slow progress. Getting there tho😁😁

I still have a thing for wanting to snack at night. Especially something a little sweet after dinner. But you can try to incorporate something that's not too unhealthy. For example, I will often have a little plain yogurt mixed with some vanilla protein powder and/or peanut butter. Sugar free sweets are everywhere these days and those also help a lot when that craving hits. Just one or 2. Good luck 👍🏼

Oooh will make notes of all these tips hehe will try the sugar free sweets as Im always craving sweet things. Thank you so much for your advise

What worked for me is packing my fridge full of fruit and veg and when the urge to binge hits, I have healthy snacks to carry me through. Find healthy low calorie snacks that you actually enjoy.
