No, it's not. Net carbs is total carbs minus the fiber and any sugar alcohols.

Just wanted to point out, if you're new to low carbing, that sugar alcohols is not the same as "sugar". Most products, in my experience, do not contain sugar alcohols and it is not listed on the label. Therefore, one might assume "sugar" means "sugar alcohol". Just an FYI to anyone reading that may be confused. Also, some people (like me) see a decline in weight loss if consuming too much sugar alcohol. I try to avoid them if possible.

To find your NC take the fiber away from the total carb. I don't even mess with sugar alcohols, mostly you find those in the "sugar-free" stuff. I try to stick with the real foods as much as possible.
