I'm surprised I didn't show another gain. Yesterday I had lunch with two friends to celebrate our May/June birthdays, as we do every year. We shared several small plates, had a glass of wine and ordered one dessert to share, so we were eating reasonably well. But then our waiter, who had apparently observed the birthday cards, comes over with another dessert with a sparkler on top! And, of course, we ate that one too.
A busy week, lunch with a friend tomorrow, lunch and a movie with the Friday Night Group the next day, a graduation party for my grand-niece Saturday and the symphony Saturday night. Quite a lot of activity for a borderline introvert.
