Morning weigh in of 211.0 after a 1571 calorie day with only 124 grams of carbs but more than 5000 mg of sodium. Lots of both the previous day. Will eat protein bars during all day meetings today and tomorrow but will have limited opportunities to drink excessive fluids to speed along the flushing of this sodium. I was up several times last night so that process has begun. So sodium and carb excesses resulted in a 12 pound gain in 18 hours. Very instructive. Watch me flush it away.

Bill, I remember when Kingkeld did his spike days that it took him several days to get it back down again. You have a great metabolism, so I know you can conquer the gain. You KNOW it isn't fat ... it's water weight.

Bill - I'd wager you can be back down and pushing the 200 mark by week's end. Regardless it's temporary. I wonder if maybe the lower you get the more sensitive your body is to the salt carb thing?

Food is so good with all of the sodium. Its a shame sodium can really put it on the scales. Lots of flushing for you Draglist, bet you have a well worn path to the throne room this week! You have always put in the effort to reach your goals. I have no doubt this time that you will do it too!!
