Something small I might have missed along the way had I been running rather than walking. One perk with exercising outdoors three of four seasons now has been that each season brings new wonders. One of my non-scale victories has been finding something beautiful in each day.

The old adage "stop and smell the roses" comes to mind. It's wonderful to find that something beautiful in each day. I try to do the same. Some days are harder than others, since I'm not able to get out and walk, but I look hard from the bus and usually will find that cloud with the silver lining.
