Okay! I'm increasing my calorie intake from under 1500 to somewhere between 1500 and 1800. It is hard to change my breakfasts due to the time constraint. I literally have no time to fry an egg. I will add a slice of lunch meat turkey or ham to my lunch sandwiches to increase my protein intake. I hope to add more hard boiled eggs and fruits for snacks as well. I hope this improves my diet.

Eggs are great, just watch out with the yolk if you have high cholesterol. Protein will make you feel full, complex carbs will give you energy. Processed carbs you should eat only in small amounts, you will get a sugar crash from them, have no energy and get cravings. Good luck :-)

I guess that explains the instant hunger I feel when I eat a nature granola bar. I'm eating them down for my lunches because I stocked up on them before I found this web site. I'm switching to regular almonds, walnuts, and pecans. I'll make my own trail mix. I was told that since I'm on cholesterol medication, I can eat more eggs and also that egg yolks are good for the brain function.
