I am at 23 pounds weight lost since May 31st. I started at 246 and I'm down to 223. I am 88 pounds from my goal and very upbeat. I feel like I've finally found a way of eating that leaves me comfortable but still losing weight. I don't have to suffer. All I'm doing is keeping carbs below 100 grams a day and keeping calories below 1500. Many days the calories are around 1300 because I'm not as hungry. With carbs up to 100 a day, I don't have to abstain from any foods. I just have to keep portions in check. I keep saying I'm going to do more exercising but still haven't. That would speed my weight loss, I believe.
