made it through the colonoscopy. screening was clean, according to the dr. am super grateful for that. so this new diet was to achieve a new level of wellness, not just the weight loss and then be done.

i did lose over 40 pounds this past year, but with that came new values and new philosophies of healthiness and wellness. my choices, behavior and accountability to myself (regarding the food I choose to put in my mouth) have evolved to new levels.

the goal was never "lose weight". it was, and continues to be, a new healthy lifestyle that I can sustain forever. i don't really have a new goal. i have learned that staying down in weight is just has much hard work and effort as it was to get down there. so again, that's why I believe people gain back the weight. the plan was not sustainable. so, that is my goal.
