I'm not freaked out about the gain, it's probably the salt in the chili. I made great choices yesterday and actually ended up low on calories but right where I wanted to be on carbs. So I'm patting my own back since I did NOT eat: the blueberry muffin at lunch, the chicken Alfredo, garlic bread and ice cream sundae at dinner that I served the guys (I had a great chicken salad and enjoyed it). I was not hungry. I ended up oversleeping and didn't have breakfast since I was having an early lunch. Today I will still make great choices but up the calories a bit with good food and keep water intake high. I think with the amount of time I was out yesterday I probably was down a bit there.
Today my boy goes back to GA but will be back the Wed before Easter with his GF for a longer visit. It's nice to have him around and I'm looking forward to them moving back end of the year/early next year when she finishes school for her LPN. I asked him yesterday if he was planning to go back to finish his 2 year degree (he only has like 6 classes left). He said he was and is thinking about going to massage therapy school after that. I think he'd be good at that and enjoy it. I hope it works out for him.
Today will be spent working on school. Math test 3 tomorrow and Tuesday is English mid-term so I want to corral my brain cells for those things. I will get out for at least a medium walk (1.5 miles, 30 minutes) today in between everything. My legs still aren't happy with me but they don't really get a choice in the matter...
