Well, I had to postpone Thanksgiving due to severe thunderstorms. I was going to drive up to my sister's, which is 85 miles north of here, but, too much chance of flooded roadways. We'll have a late celebration Sunday. I had planned to make a lemon Pavlova, but that's impossible with the high humidity right now, just have to wait for drier weather.

The holiday occurs when you can be together with family. Our family will be celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow (Saturday) because our daughter, the RN, had to work on Thanksgiving and today. So we get a little more time to prep for the feast.
