3.8 miles walked on a new loop off the lake route. Took a measuring drive this afternoon to get a fairly accurate measure of the distance.

Worked in the front landscape beds yesterday after trimming and edging the lawn (DH did the cutting). Pulled an enormous amount of weeds but there're still many, many more awaiting me. After all the rain we had over the weekend, NOW is the time to pull those, as it's messy but a lot easier than usual. Ended up going into the pool twice yesterday...after my walk and then again after the lawn work.

After all that work yesterday and being back at my walking after a few days off, I had a lot of trouble staying awake last night after dinner (which wasn't a big dinner, so I'm sure it wasn't from that). Wow. Forced myself to stay up until 10 or so and then went to bed, sleeping soundly until this AM. That sleepiness hasn't happened for a very, very long time.

Still feeling a bit grumpy about my weight loss this month, but I'm working through it. I'm actually working on my 2nd pound this month having lost the first pound on the 2nd day of the month, which is why it seems like forever since I've dropped. I'll get things straightened out one way or another. Compared to other people (I know I shouldn't compare, but...), my journey has been fairly smooth sailing, so I'm overdue for a few bumps here or there.
