I underestimate myself too much. Midweek, I started to feel “my age” with sharp pain in my right knee when going down stairs (have been having to hold the stair rail) and what I thought might be another bulging disc problem in my lower back. So I’ve just been taking it easy with yoga, working on posture, etc. and started feeling a bit depressed about my fitness goals slipping away from me. I’m sure there are some hormones in play with all these feels but tonight I decided to just go ahead and do my 30 minute treadmill jog even though I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to bend my right knee. Guess what? I did fine and did not even have a problem with me knee or back! And, honestly… it felt pretty good. We’ll see how I feel tomorrow physically but I’m feeling pretty okay right now. 😊
